Chartwell is an 80 home subdivision in south Forsyth County, Georgia. Established in 1993, Chartwell was designed to keep as much of the original forestation as possible. With towering trees, running streams, and easy access to many local restaurants and shopping, Chartwell has become a popular place to raise a family.
Governed by a 7 member HOA and managed by a professional management service, Chartwell continues to maintain one of the lowest yearly HOA fees, despite being one of the most beautiful subdivisions in the region. With a swimming pool, two tennis courts, and lighted streets, Chartwell has used pro-active planning to keep maintenance fees to a minimum.
Getting to Chartwell couldn't be easier. Located along Old Atlanta road, connecting Hwy 141 (Peachtree Parkway) to McGinnis Ferry and Hwy 120, many restaurants, grocery stores, and retail shopping are within a 3-4 mile radius. Located 4 miles from Georgia 400 makes getting downtown a breeze.
Chartwell is fortunate to be served by award winning Lambert High School. Opening its doors in 2009, Lambert ranks #2 in the state for public, non-charter/magnet schools using the US News college readiness index (48.4). Lambert also ranks #2 for both Math and English proficiency (3.8). Knowing that 60% of the students will take at least one Advanced Placement (AP) course, should give great comfort for parents interested in maximizing their child's educational opportunities.
